Speaker:Guseinov (academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, former director of Institute of Philosophy of Russian Academy of Sciences, professor of Moscow State University)
Over the past 100 years, great social changes have continuously given Russian philosophy new tasks and missions. Russian philosophers do not pay attention to abstract concepts and boring system construction, but pay attention to trying to integrate philosophical development into the process of social history, and care about Russian national destiny, cultural identity and future road choice. By reviewing the development of Russian philosophy in the past 100 years, it is not difficult to find that it is still the theoretical mission of Russian philosophy to build a unique philosophical form in the gap between the encirclement and blockade of the western world. Today’s Russian philosophy and philosophers still have a long way to go.

Since the late 1920s, the new scientific trend of literature and history research has permeated into the field of China literature history writing, and the pursuit of "objectivity" has increasingly become the mainstream understanding. But how can it be objective? Intriguingly, Qian Zhongshu, who was the most objective at that time, soon gave up this position. There are about two reasons: first, language forms can only explain the narrow sense of style, but can not fully explain the genre; Second, his study of China literature was originally intended to nourish creation, and objective investigation was not his original intention. Qian Zhongshu’s "retreat" has prompted people to continue to think about some problems that are difficult to solve urgently: how can objective investigation and subjective feelings be combined in the writing of literary history? Is stylistic evolution enough to serve as the main axis of narrative? How to combine other factors to paint a three-dimensional picture? Wait a minute.
